Ken Allen has been working in the performing arts sector in Perth Western Australia for over 10 years. First gaining notoriety as the administrator for Perth’s famous ‘Sambanistas’ Ken then went on to form Junkadelic followed by Funk Junktion, The Chameleon Brass Band and now Hedge Bandits Junkadelic. Along the way he has hosted a plethora of events, community events, worked for Joondalup delivering their annual street parade, which then lead on to him becoming employed by Channel 7 to deliver the Christmas pageant.

Jimmy ‘lips’ Murphy has been playing trumpet in bands around Perth for over 10 years. having previously studied trumpet at Western Australia’s Academy of Performing arts, he went on to complete a marketing degree and begin developing his music and business skills. He’s the founding member of Funk Club Inc, a member of the Arts WA contemporary music panel, and has toured Australia and many parts of the world playing in various bands – what’s more – he’s a hell of a nice guy!
